High-tech in the new 700 Vario

Cutting-edge technology from the high-horsepower ranges has been integrated in the 700 Vario range. As components of the Variotronic, the new Varioterminal, camera functions, automatic steering and documentation have now found their way into this power class. The new SCR technology stands for enormous economy in fuel consumption.

More horsepower under the bonnet

At the heart of the new 700 is the new 6.06-litre six-cylinder engine and the SCR exhaust after-treatment technology. In conjunction with the new continuously variable Vario transmission ML 180, the drive train delivers convincing dynamics and maximum efficiency.

Since SCR exhaust after-treatment takes place after the combustion process, the lively engine can be optimally tuned for maximum performance and extremely economical fuel consumption.

Better driving with full suspension

The suspension design on the 700 Vario provides maximum ride comfort. The combination of front axle suspension, cab suspension and seat suspension, which provide a driving sensation on par with passenger cars, was adopted from the high-horsepower tractors. The most comfortable cab suspension is the pneumatic three-point suspension, which provides air-suspension at both the front and rear. The four-point suspension also offers excellent ride comfort and is available in a pneumatic/mechanical or mechanical only version.
